Acer palmatum ‘Red Filigree Lace,’ or Red Filigree Laceleaf Maple, features marvelously delicate cut foliage that separates this from many other burgundy dissectums. Foliage returns bright burgundy in the spring, darkens to maroon for summer, and then gets dramatically fiery red for the fall. Despite its apparent delicate foliage, this tree is reliably hardy.
